Throughout this web site you'll notice emphasis on the fact that the Lime in the Coconut is a Compounding Pharmacy.  What's the difference?  Compounding Pharmacies are laboratories where prescription medication is prepared using highly specialized equipment; electronic balances (scales for most of us), integrated computer software (removes some of that guess work that makes Chef's famous), hoods, fans, crimpers, ointment mills, rectal rockets, etc.  Opening this Pharmacy has been one of the most exciting, interesting & fulfilling experiences ever.  We're so excited about it that we encased the Lab with glass windows so you can watch while medications are prepared.  And don't worry about the hand and nose prints on the glass, you won't be the first person to be totally mesmerized by the process!
