SWEDISH
Swedish massage is a relaxation based massage. It targets the superficial muscles and tissues for a very calming experience. The techniques used are of a light to medium pressure.
DEEP TISSUE
A deep tissue massage is a much more vigorous experience than a Swedish massage. The aim is to release tensions and mobilize fluids that are deeper to the body's surface. The pressure can be intense but never more than what you are comfortable receiving.
MYOFASCIAL THERAPY
Myofascial Therapy is a very clinical approach to massage. Instead of focusing on the entire body, we concentrate on the specific muscles and muscle groups that are dysfunctional. There is an assessment of posture and simple actions in the beginning of each session. At the end, there is a reassessment so that we are able to mark your progress. Myofascial Therapy is a great adjunct to physical therapy patients and anyone recovering from an injury.
SHIATSU
Shiatsu is an oriental style of massage. Its techniques are developed around the theories of traditional Chinese medicine. It is a wonderful way to feel relaxed and improve your overall health. This massage is done clothed on a mat.
THAI
Thai massage is an incredibly soothing experience. It is performed in a very meditative state and incorporates energy line balancing and passive stretching techniques. This massage is a great fit for people who have trouble staying in one position for a long period of time.
REIKI
Reiki is a very popular treatment in the world of alternative medicines. It is a practice that was developed by Dr. Usui and it uses universal energy to help boost the body's own ability to heal.

CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY
Craniosacral Therapy is a wonderful treatment for a laundry list of conditions. Headaches, migraines, TMJ syndrome, neck and back pain, and pain from injuries are some of the most common applications. It is also useful in many other situations such as: the birthing process, colic babies, infants that wont suckle, autism, sciatic pain, fibromialgia, ect. Very light stretches and tissue manipulation are used to create the appropriate environment for the body to release tensions that it is holding.
